# hLobby Localization

> Translate and customize hLobby messages.

hLobby messages use [MiniMessage](https://docs.advntr.dev/minimessage/format.html) formatting. Language files live in `plugins/hLobby/lang/` and are extracted from the jar on first use.

## Included languages

| Language | File |
| - | - |
| English | `en.yml` (default) |
| Spanish | `es.yml` |

## Change language

Set the file name without extension in `config.yml`:

```yaml theme={null}
general:
  language: es
```

Then run `/hlobby reload`.

## Add a new language

1. Copy `en.yml` to a new file, for example `fr.yml`.
2. Translate the messages.
3. Set `general.language: fr` and reload.

## MiniMessage quick reference

| Tag | Result |
| - | - |
| `<red>text</red>` | Red text. |
| `<#FF0000>text` | Custom hex color. |
| `<bold>text</bold>` | Bold text. |
| `<click:run_command:/lobby>Click</click>` | Clickable text. |
| `<hover:show_text:'Hello'>Hover</hover>` | Hover tooltip. |
| `<gradient:blue:aqua>text</gradient>` | Gradient text. |

## Common placeholders

| Placeholder | Replaced with |
| - | - |
| `{player}` | The player's username. |
| `{server}` | The target server name. |
| `{mode}` | The current teleport mode. |
