# Building hLobby from Source

> Compile hLobby with Gradle.

## Requirements

* JDK 21 or newer.
* Gradle 8.5+ (the wrapper is included).

## Clone and build

```bash theme={null}
# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/hauchdev/hlobby.git
cd hlobby

# Build the shaded jar
./gradlew build
```

The distributable jar is at:

```
build/libs/hLobby-<version>.jar
```

## IDE setup

Open the project in IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse. Gradle will download dependencies automatically.

## Continuous integration

hLobby uses `.github/workflows/build.yml`. Every push runs `./gradlew build` on Ubuntu and Windows. Tagged `v*` builds additionally publish a GitHub Release with the packaged JAR.
